Welcome to the all new Arcadians Cricket Club Website. We hope you like the new site, it's design and content. We have got rid of some of the oler and less utilised areas of the old website and introoduced a number of new features (with more on the way)....!
So, why have we moved onto a new website?
Most importantly the new website is on the latest Content Management platform which helps to reduce the problems experienced previously with hackers. That is not to say that we won't have problems again, but this latest platform has a regular schedule of security updates and patches.
The new website has a host of the latest Web 2.0 benefits which will enable the site to be more interactive and hopefully encourage more users. It will also provide the opportuynity for more of the club to submit articles and match reports easily as well as offering a variety of services for the club members. Please do contribute. The more people who help will ensure that it continues to grow and improve over time.
Finally the new website is designed to the latest web compliant standards to ensure longevity.
The only downside is that we need to ask you to register again please................!!

Just a quick introduction to a few of the new Website Features............. 1. Direct Links to our BBC Play Cricket website and to the fixtures and results pages in particular. No point in duplicating the hard work of those who upload the results each week!! 2. Archive section - to avoid loosing the majority of our old articles, we have migrated them into an archive section. Some of the images and links may be missing or may not work properly and over time these will be either updated or removed! 3. One Registration! By registering once you will have access to your own members area with integrated gallery and forum areas without having to reister separately. 4. The members area also provides the opportunity to host small video clips of your own, images and much more! 5. You can easily link items to your favourite social networking sites such as facebook, twitter, bebo, linkedin etc 6. Cricket Tweets bring you the latest tweets in the cricketing world. 7. Embedded and included ECB Video content through You Tube 8. From the Registered Users Menu we have made it really simple to submit an article, match report or news item. Plus much more planned once we have encouraged users to register and join us again.....................!!
