Arcadians v Bream 24th May 2009
Not exactly a match report but more a small article to ackowledge that we so nearly witnessed history in the making - And I'm not referring to Stu buying a round either!
Having scored 220 the Arcadians were quite positive and hopeful of victory. This was helped when Adam Franklin opened the bowling from the top end. His first three balls produced three clean bowled wickets. That in itself is a feat which is impressive as a bowler can go his whole career without a hat trick. However what followed was nearly the history maker when Sagar produced two wickets in two balls. The promise of two hat tricks in one game would have been a supeb acomplishment. Sadly it was not to be but we came close to witnessing Arcadians History in the making!!

What we also saw was the future of the club. The youth members of Adam, Sagar and Kurt (to mention just three) are undoubtedly the future of the club and it was impressive to see each of them contributing strongly with the ball and in the field!!
